Eczema friendly products

Hi everyone,

You probably noticed that there is not much happening on my blog lately. Unfortunately my eyes are affected by some kind of allergy/eczema again and I can't apply too much makeup. Most of the days I have it under control and I hope I will be able to get back to blogging soon.

Meanwhile, I decided to show you some of the "eczema friendly" skincare products I've tried so far.

The first brand doesn't need special introduction - Cetaphil is well known all over the world. Their products are great for sensitive, allergic skin and the range is excellent. Plus they are inexpensive and widely available.
There are two products that, in my opinion, deserve special mention. Gentle Skin Cleanser can be used as an alternative to soap or eye makeup remover. It soothes and balances irritated skin without drying it out. Plus it's oil and fragrance free.

Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion acts as an effective moisturiser for eczema prone skin. It can be used from head to toe and should be applied after cleansing. Again there is no fragrance here so it won't cause extra irritation and the formulation provides long lasting hydration without greasy residue.
If you haven't tried Cetaphil yet, you should definitely check them out next time you are in the pharmacy.
Next we have my favorite hand cream. Unfortunately my hands are affected by eczema for most of the year and I can't leave the house without hand cream. I've tried a lot of different ones but Dermaveen Eczema Cream turned out to be the best. It's not greasy and doesn't take long to absorb so I don't need to wait extra time to get back to my daily tasks. It contains colloidal oatmeal - best friend of everyone suffering from sensitive, itchy skin. It's like a miracle balm to my hands - after application itching is reduced and my hands feel moisturised and soft again. Plus you can use it as a soothing cream after excessive sun exposure.
